This is my personal list of what I think would be some good changes. I haven't been playing for too long so I don't know of the existence of game breaking bugs that need priority. I have encountered a few bugs, but nothing that couldn't be solved through an app restart.
I) Login:
I feel like the "Guest" part is unnecessary. Everyone at this point has either a google or facebook account at least and singing up with these is not hard at all. And since the app is not intrusive (posting on your wall or such) and since it's a multiplayer game, having your own account makes sense.
If however, you feel like for quick app testing you want to keep this feature, then maybe a migrating from Guest to Google/Facebook/Gamex account feature would be appropriate.
II) Remember account/password
As someone who plays on multiple servers, it would be nice if Facebook/Gamex also remembered the last account and password introduces like login with Google does. If you argue that maybe it should be the other way around and never remember account and password, to avoid situations where someone spends crystals on your behalf or something, first of all, you can lock your phone, second of all, make the feature of remembering account/password consistent across all login platforms.
III) Guilds:
1. Right now, the only way to tell if a guild is language-specific or nationality-specific is if they somehow mention it in the name of the guild, but I'm presuming that the guild name needs to be relatively short.
Add nationality to a guild. By default global (no nationality), but can be set to a specific country.
The nationality should be implemented as a flag plus the initials of the country the flag represents.
The nationality can:
- be viewed by all, including those outside of the guild
- be changed only by guild chief; make it cost crystals to change the second time and after.
2. I don't know if the "Guild Motto" part is supposed to work or not, but I've browsed every guild I could find and never saw a Guild Motto message. This could also replace the nationality if it became the "Guild Description"
3. If you don't meet the level requirement of a guild, don't show the guild in the list of available guilds (depending on the number of guilds on the server, this may or may not be ideal)
IV) Friends:
When tapping on a friend, you should be able to see when he last logged on. Maybe some of them quit the game so then I would probably replace him with someone I can actually exchange stamina with.
V) Dolphin pond:
I never knew until I joined the forum that dolphin pond actually gives rewards to VIP of a certain level. It seemed like a design feature to make the whole wish fountain look nicer. There should be a pop-up or redirect when tapping the dolphin pond which sends you to the Vault and tells you somehow that you need the specific level of VIP to unlock it.
VI) Training grounds:
Aside from the training grounds, every other in game action make sense and is continuous, while training grounds are used once and forever left alone.
Something I thought would be a good addition would be if you had a bunch of challenges (mid to high complexity challenges, similar in concept, but harder than "[5] Up Close and Personal").
You cycle through these challenges and make one available per day. A new challenge is presented when the day resets. It rewards some stamina/gold/crystals.
It also keeps the theme of training grounds if you use a wider variety of heroes in the predefined challenges such that people would see their ultimates, other skills and interactions between heroes.
Other that what was mentioned, the game feels awesome, and at the end of the day, whether or not any of these additions get implemented, I will continue to play and support the game.
Cheers
