Bobberooni’s Ultimate Guide to Heroes Tactics
Heroes
Here, I’ll cover what heroes to prioritize. I do not like saying that one hero is good and one is bad, because every hero can be great if used correctly. But here I will be prioritizing heroes you should upgrade. The red tier heroes should be the highest priority on your list of heroes to upgrade, while the purple tier should be lower down. Heroes in each tier are sorted alphabetically. See the ratings below the hero’s description to see where it’s strengths and weaknesses are. Check below the hero's rating to see where to get the hero.
Press Ctrl+F then type the hero you are looking for.
[PF] = Personal Favourite
Centaur
Being one of the most mobile tanks in the game, Centaur can change the pace of the battle completely. He is very tanky, and has 4 mobility on round 1 which allows him to quickly get into the thick of battle. His most valuable skill though is his War Stomp skill, which stuns the target on rounds 1, 4, and 7. But that’s not all, his ultimate can stun the target as well as everyone in a straight line behind the target! This ends up usually stunning 2 or more enemies, and combined with his War Stomp skill, he is one of the best heroes in terms of crowd control. Few heroes evade the stuns (Igor, Zorak, and Nixaes), and Centaur’s high health and defence will make him a fantastic defender.

Dracula
Dracula is just simply a beast. He has great mobility, good damage and a freaking wicked ultimate! He is undead, which means he cannot be healed by healers like Helena. But he doesn’t need any healers, because his ultimate is all he needs since he is anti-counterattack. His ultimate does crazy damage; Consistently over 34,000 damage during a critical strike, due to his ultimate completely ignoring the target's defence. He also heals 70% of the damage he dealt, and can heal well over 20,000 health from a critical strike ultimate hit. Additionally, he has good life steal on regular attacks and has a high dodge rate against female heroes.

Elemix [PF]
Elemix is amazing. He is my favourite hero in the game, because he is good everywhere! He is simply the best in the guild boss, and puts out insane damage due to his multi-hit capability. He can be stunned by the boss, but even still he is very good at the guild boss, and all record runs use him. In the Arena he will quite literally tear enemies to shreds using his amazing power. His ultimate is the best in the game, pausing all enemies for one round. The only hero that is immune to this is Nixaes. All paused heroes cannot dodge, so it’s very easy to take out squishy and high dodge rate heroes like Zorak. His multi-hit will allow him to do great damage in the Arena, while sending the targets back to their last position, which can be useful for protecting back-liners like Merlin. He is also very good in Sky Arena too, despite him not being able to heal. He is very low on the enemy hit-priority list, so as long as you don’t shove him in the very front, he will rarely be attacked. He lasts to castle 10 in Sky Arena quite easily since he is anti-counterattack, and his Halt skill can be a life saver!

How do I wish in the Dolphin Pond?
You must be VIP 11 or higher to wish in the Dolphin Pond. Each wish costs 400 crystals, but there are two daily quests that give back 100 and 200 crystals after wishing 1 and 3 times respectively. So it costs 300 crystals each wish when you wish 1 or 3 times a day. There is a 1/15 chance that you will draw a 3 star VIP hero in their respective week. Each VIP hero is in the Dolphin Pond for one week, until it rotates to the next VIP hero. Wishing 1 or 3 times a day would mean that it costs an average of 4500 crystals per VIP hero summon.
Farand
Farand is a deluxe package exclusive hero, and is a great tank, and a tank destroyer at the same time! Farand’s mutative attack allows him to take the defence of a hero and turn it into his attack. In other words, he does a lot of damage to tanks like Grump and Centaur. He sucks up physical defence from other units up to 2 cells away at the beginning of his turn. Because of this, he can be used as a replacement for Kamus in the guild boss (Although he isn’t quite as good overall), and he can quickly become very tanky due to all the physical defence he can built up. He is a solid hero is Arena, because he can take a lot of hits and his Immortal Shield skill will keep him alive for yet another hit.

How do I get Deluxe Packages?
Deluxe Packages are items found in the General Store, as well as the upgraded Luxurious Packages found in the Camex and Pirate Store, all during the Farand Hero Package Event. When the event is over, Farand's Soulstones will be unobtainable, until the next time the event comes. Opening these packages gives you Farand's Soulstones, and if you're lucky, a 2 star Farand summon (Which is worth 15 soulstones if you have summoned Farand already). Overall, the standard Deluxe Packages are better value over the upgraded Luxurious Packages.
Gladius
Being an epic-looking golden dragon, Gladius is great in several areas of the game. Firstly, he is immune to most secondary attacks like fire and poison. Secondly, he is quite tanky for having 4 mobility, and he can fly. He deals good damage, and can attack the target and any hero behind the target as well. He also pushes back any heroes in front of him at the beginning of his turn, which also deals some extra damage. He is great at the guild boss because of these skills, and fits well on most teams in the Arena.

How do I wish in the Dolphin Pond?

Helena
Being the best healer in the game, Helena is a crucial member to most Sky Arena teams. 3 of her 4 skills are healing abilities, where she can heal herself and others. Her ultimate is very powerful in the healing game, because every hero around the target gets healed, excluding demons and undead units of course. At lower levels Helena is very squishy, but in later levels she can be fairly tanky, more so than most other ranged units. She is also decent in the Arena, as long as Zorak cannot attack her round one.

Hyperia
Hyperia isn’t super reliable, due to her high dodge rate sometimes failing her. Nevertheless, she is very powerful because she steals ability points from heroes up to 2 cells away from her at the beginning of every round. Her great regeneration can keep her alive for a while, especially when her high dodge rate comes into play. Hyperia has decent damage, and can change the pace of the battle completely. Since she heals quite a bit with her regeneration every round, she can also preform decent in the Sky Arena.

Kamus
Being a very tanky hero, Kamus is great for defending, and he also does great damage. His ultimate skill will attack the target 3 times, with the last attack being double the damage. Because each hit is powerful, I find that high dodge rate guys like Zorak often fall to Kamus’ ultimate, even when they dodge once or twice. But Kamus permanently reduces physical defence during any of his attacks until the battle is over. Therefore, he is very good at the guild boss, because he can bring the guild boss’ tentacle down to 0 physical defence. Then all other physical attack heroes will do more damage to that tentacle.

Nixaes
Nixaes is incredible at several things. He is great at dealing pure damage, has a decent AoE, and is immune to everything but plain damage! With 6 mobility, no enemy is safe from Nixaes. He does fantastic damage to the guild boss and can’t be stunned. Additionally, he has 100% hit rate during his ultimate. He also performs quite well in defence in the Arena. When he dies, he pops into his egg, and rises 3 rounds later at full health if the egg isn’t destroyed! Because of this, he is insanely good at Sky Arena. As long as you keep him in an egg during the end of the round he will rise up at full health for the next fight. This makes him a must-have for completing Sky Arena, especially near the beginning of the game when the opponents can be quite challenging.

Pei
One of the strongest ranged heroes in the game is Pei. He has a steady regeneration skill, does lots of damage, and can do insane damage with his ultimate. He can also execute his ultimate to any hero in the battle when another unit is right in front of him, which normally causes ranged heroes to do a melee attack. His Battle Roar skill gives all teammates a damage buff and +1 mobility on rounds 3, 6, and 9. This is very useful for slow heroes like Isha, because they normally take a long time to get around the battlefield. Pei is also amazing at the guild boss, because his ultimate can do over 100,000 damage when attacking a limb that Kamus has reduced physical defence to 0, and both hits are criticals.

Pixie
Another great crowd control character is Pixie! She sleeps a unit on rounds 1, 4, and 7, and can use her ultimate every second turn. Her ultimate does a decent amount of damage and will sleep, petrify, or lower the target’s damage dramatically, for 3 rounds. She has high mobility, and is anti-counterattack, but falls short with very low health. Because of her low health, she needs a healer like Helena to keep her alive for longer. She has a high dodge rate against ranged attacks, which will keep her relatively safe near the back of the battle.

Zorak [PF]
Being the Sky Arena store exclusive, Zorak has a lot going for him. His round 1 teleportation and skill block ability is quite simply incredible. Not only does he go in stealth mode, where he can’t be hit directly, he removes the target’s skills for 2 rounds. When in stealth mode, he can definitely become a barricade for non-aerial units. Every one of his hits removes the target’s ability to be healed by other units like Helena. He is fairly squishy, but generally makes up for it by having a high dodge rate as well as being anti-counterattack. Zorak is a weak range hero destroyer and simply a must-have.

Aqua
As the second best healer in the game, Aqua can be a great back-line hero. She cannot heal herself, but she can heal others well. On rounds 1, 4, and 7 her Frozen Arrow skill will freeze the target for one round. This can be especially useful for slowing down quick units like Zorak or Salvo on round 1. Her ultimate will slow down the target and any enemy next to the target for 2 rounds, which is fantastic for keeping enemies at bay.

Cyclops
Cyclops is a very tanky ranged unit that can throw anyone who gets up in his face across the battlefield, using his ultimate. Because he can tank so many hits, he stays alive for a while in the Arena, and can do quite well in Sky Arena. Surprisingly, he is very good at the guild boss, because on rounds 2, 5, and 8 he will use his Kaboom skill and throw a TNT barrel. The TNT barrel will hit the target and also damage anyone next to the target, so it can hit multiple parts of the boss at once causing great damage.

Grump
Being the toughest tank in the game, Grump can take up to several rounds of constant attacking to take down. He does next to no damage, but he is not on the battlefield to deal damage, but rather to chew up the attacker’s hits. His taunt ability, which he can use every round, is amazing for keeping high damage dealers from attacking your squishy heroes. Grump can be a pain to get rid of in an Arena defence, and can find a spot in your Sky Arena team. His Cooperation skill can allow him to also deal a decent bit of damage, due to attacking with Tristan and Alexander.

Igor [PF]
I would say that Igor is the free-to-play version of Nixaes, as he has many things in common, but is slightly weaker overall. He cannot be stunned, he is immune to fire, he has a decent AoE, and he cannot be healed by healers. Igor can heal himself by eating corpses though, which can also be very tactical. When someone dies, Makhai can summon a skeleton from the corpse, but not if Igor ate the corpse beforehand! Igor can do some pretty good damage to the guild boss, and is a good alternative if you do not have access to Nixaes for the fight. He can also be a decent hero in the Arena. It is also worth noting that he has the highest base dodge rate of any hero in the game.

Isaac
Isaac is a fairly hard-hitting ranged unit, and can heal quite well. He has no ranged effectiveness range, meaning that he will do the same damage to targets farther than 5 cells away. His Rebut skill allows him to knock back heroes right next to him by one cell, while also dealing the same amount of damage as a ranged attack. Being with his sister Isaiah does benefit him, but not very much. In Sky Arena Isaac will survive for a while, but has trouble getting to castle 10. He can be pretty good in the Arena, though.

She cannot heal enough to be very good in Sky Arena though.

Isha is tanky and can survive for a long time in a battle, because she can parry 30% of the time when melee attacked, and take half the damage. She also gains physical defence when surrounded by enemies, which increases her survivability yet more. Additionally, she has one of the best ultimates in the game, dealing ungodly amounts of damage. Enough to kill pretty much any hero she strikes with her ultimate. She is slow, but can be very good at the guild boss.

Alexander is quite tanky, heals quite well using his God’s Grace skill on rounds 3, 6 and 9, and can deal some impressive damage when with his Cooperation buddies. He can take out demon and undead units with ease, because his special will do only critical hits towards them, and his God’s Grace skill will hurt them quite badly. Alexander can survive very well, and can hold out attackers in the Arena surprisingly well. Due to his healing, he can also be very useful in Sky Arena.

Drakon
As part of the Dragon Tribe, Drakon can be a great tank. He, unlike most tanks, can actually deal a lot of damage too. His poison skill can be layered on an enemy, and deal a lot of damage to that particular target with a standard or ultimate attack. When 3 or more layers of poison are on an enemy, Drakon can do incredible damage. He is decent in the Arena, and Sky Arena, but not as much in the guild boss.

Gable
Never underestimate Gable. He’s fast, does a lot of damage, and his special can stun the enemy. His Battle Roar skill will boost the whole team’s damage for 2 rounds starting on round 1, and can be very powerful. He can die fairly quickly though, so for him to be very useful, he must be accompanied by a healer. His endless counterattack ability is amazing, and can be great for “fishing” in the guild boss battles.

His Infuriate skill boosts his damage considerably whenever he is attacked. Since he is fairly tanky, he will take a lot of hits to kill, so he will end up doing some serious damage. Ives [PF]
Are you scared of trees? You should be. Ives will tangle every enemy’s feet on round 1, creating great opportunities for your ranged units to fire away at the enemy. He can be a great tank, also hurting anyone who melee attacks him due to his Thorns skill. His ultimate skill Twine can trap enemies until he moves, dies, or the magic is dispersed. So he can trap and slow down dangerous units. He can also heal himself whenever he wants by defending during that round. This can be amazingly useful in Sky Arena, but in the Arena he will not use the healing skill normally, because he will not defend.

She can be useful in the Arena and Sky Arena, but not very much.

Merlin can be useful for the guild boss when several tentacles are down, because of his multi-hit ultimate. Units melee attacking Merlin have a 30% chance of being paralyzed, meaning they cannot use any skills and they can only move 1 cell for 1 round. Mucker
Being the only physical attack Elemental unit, Mucker has incredible defence and health, being one of the strongest tanks in the game. On rounds 3, 6, and 9 Mucker will stun all surrounding enemies for one round. This can be very useful in the Arena when multiple enemies are gathered around Mucker, trying to take the heavy tank down. His ultimate, Rock ‘n Roll, can drag enemies all they way across the field, which can be great for keeping back-line heroes safe. He also gains energy and does more damage the farther he drags the enemy back in his Rock ‘n Roll form. He has very low damage on regular attacks, and is mainly just used with his Elemental buddies.

As one of the most mobile tanks in the game, Salvo will charge forward on round 1 until he hits an enemy or barricade, doing tremendous damage. His charge is so powerful that he can one-hit kill weaker heroes like Merlin and Pixie. He has a 30% chance to parry when melee attacked, taking half the damage. He can survive for extended periods of time, and do quite a bit of damage while he’s alive. He can be quite powerful on an attacking team in the Arena and Sky Arena, because you can line up his charge to do insane damage.

Stryker is a basic ranged hero, but can deal some decent damage. He ultimate has 100% hit rate, and does a good amount of damage. His Pyro Arrows skill will help deal some extra damage on rounds 1, 4, and 7. His Hunter’s Mark skill will target the enemy with the lowest health on rounds 2, 5, and 8, and all teammates that attack the targeted enemy will do more damage to the target. Up close with melee units, Stryker struggles to stay alive.

With a very high dodge rate, Zona returns to her original position after attacking. Her ultimate isn’t amazing, but it does increase the target’s miss rate by 30% for 2 rounds. Fiesty can deal some decent damage over time due to setting many enemies on fire. Anyone who melee attacks Fiesty will be set of fire. His ultimate hits the target and everyone behind the target in a straight line. None of his skills are that impressive, and his Curse skill is too luck based to make much of a good use out of it. He’s not very tanky and his damage isn’t great, so he is rarely used.

Tips 'n Tricks
Gold and Enchanting
-Sell your Hero's Diaries and Survival Books (Grey and green level XP books) for gold. You will need lots of gold later on for upgrading your hero's skills.
-Sell most of your green and blue level equipment shards if you need more gold, or use them as enchanting material. It is also cheaper to use the equipment shards to enchant, rather than forging the shards into the full equipment, and then enchanting that.
Shopping and Farming
-Early on in the game you should always buy the 5 Combat Tactics (Blue level XP books) for 10 crystals at the Camex and Pirate store. You need all the XP you can get for your heroes at the beginning, so your main heroes are at max level.
-Save up crystals and buy Uranus' Wings at the Camex and Pirate store when you can. They take a while to farm, and many heroes need several of them. This will increase your progression significantly.
-Warrior Mode 10-2 is the level with the highest drop rate for Uranus' Wings. This level drops 3 shards, instead of 2, on average during 10 raids.
-Always buy shards of the following using your gold: Uranus' Wings, all 4 Essences, all 4 Elemental Crystals, and Infinity Blades in the General, Camex, and Pirate store. When you have all your main heroes at 5 stars, save your Arena, Sky, and Guild Coins for Angel's Armor and Guardian's Broadsword. If you're a VIP player, it also is worth buying them from the Camex and Pirate store for a little over 1000 crystals.
-Don't refresh the General, Camex, or Pirate store, it is not worth the crystals. Refresh the Arena and Sky Arena store up to 2 times a day to get the heroes you need, it's only 10 tokens for the first and second refresh.
-Use most, if not all your tokens on soulstones in the Arena, Sky Arena, and Guild Store. Items are easier to mass farm in story mode.
-Get Zorak to 5 stars as fast as you can. Thank me later.
-If you aren't VIP 9 and 10, you will not be able to permanently summon the Camex and Pirate store respectively. Then there is a chance that when battling a story mode level, even with raid cards, that either the Camex or Pirate store will arrive. If one does arrive, wait until they are gone again before battling more story mode levels, to maximize the chance of the stores arriving again.
Stamina and Arena
-You can claim up to a maximum of 200 stamina points per day with 100 friends. Make sure you check up every 2 hours and click the claim all button upon clicking the request button. The game will only allow you to claim a maximum of 60 stamina at once, but if you follow the rule mentioned above you can get 200. In the event that you forget to check up and claim stamina every few hours, and the system detected that over 30 friends already sent over 60 stamina to you, it's not too late. Just click on each friend and claim stamina manually. It's a tedious job manually clicking many friends, but it can also be quick if you have fast fingers.
-When the developers send rewards with stamina as a compensation or for a holiday present, save the gift and claim it when double Warrior Mode drops are active. That way you will get the most value out of the stamina.
-Never let your stamina reach the max count you can hold. When this happens, you will stop naturally regenerating stamina every 10 minutes.
-Set three alarms on your phone to remind you to claim your stamina. Also set an alarm just before the Arena payout, to ensure you don't forget to attack and steal a high rank in the Arena for the payout.
-Pay attention to the players defense team above you in the Arena rankings. Usually after the Arena closes or early in the morning, players will purposely drop their defense in order to complete their daily task of 5 Arena wins. This is a great opportunity to reset your Sky Arena progress. Then if you have to battle that tough player in the Sky Arena, you will fight their current Arena defence team (Usually 1 hero, or 5 weak heroes), and can have a greater chance of completing the 10 Sky Castles.
-Save up at least 2 Arena battles for the evening so you can attack right before payout. Then you have a higher chance of settling in for a higher Arena rank for that day.
-When attacking in the Arena, you can immediately leave the battle, because all you are watching is a replay. The win or loss is determined as soon as you click "Challenge".
Ponds and Miscellaneous
-Do not wish in the Mermaid Pond, it is not worth your crystals. Make sure to always wish the free wish you get every 2 days for the Mermaid pond though!
-If you have heroes that you aren't using, don't upgrade them. If you do, you will receive more difficult Sky Arena opponents.
-Completing a major achievement (2000 Sky Castles Completed, 2000 Gold Purchases, 600 Mermaid Pond Wishes etc.), one that gives you a special frame (Besides the hero star and VIP frames), will award you 200 soulstones of your choice. You can send a screenshot with your achievement frame to the support team to claim your prize. You can also get 50 VIP soulstones rather than 200 regular ones. That means than with one major achievement you can summon Farand or Neil (As they only require 30 SS), and with two major achievements, you can summon Isaiah, Isaac, Pegasus, Elemix, Gladius, or Nixaes even as a free-to-play player (Because these heroes require 80 SS to summon)!

Isaiah
Even though Isaiah isn’t quite as good as her brother, Isaiah can still dish out a lot of damage with her ultimate. If you get some enemies lined up in a straight line, Isaiah’s special can hit them all, with full damage. She can heal fairly well with her brother Isaac, and can preform quite well in the Arena. She cannot heal enough to be very good in Sky Arena though.

Isha
Isha is tanky and can survive for a long time in a battle, because she can parry 30% of the time when melee attacked, and take half the damage. She also gains physical defence when surrounded by enemies, which increases her survivability yet more. Additionally, she has one of the best ultimates in the game, dealing ungodly amounts of damage. Enough to kill pretty much any hero she strikes with her ultimate. She is slow, but can be very good at the guild boss.

Being an Elemental, Airy cannot be healed. Even still, he survives quite well, because he has quite a bit of health and the Cyclone skill to deal with melee units up in his face. Alexander

What’s fishing?
Fishing is when you do not damage the guild boss, but rather get all the loot by killing the fish. The reason people do this is because most guilds will kill the boss faster than they can regain the guild stamina to summon another one.

Infernio is a fierce fireball that can do a lot of damage. He’s an Elemental, so he can’t heal, but that won’t stop him from doing a lot of damage before he goes down. His Infuriate skill boosts his damage considerably whenever he is attacked. Since he is fairly tanky, he will take a lot of hits to kill, so he will end up doing some serious damage. His ultimate allows him to teleport to anywhere on the battlefield, so nobody is safe. With his Elemental buddies he can be a serious threat.

Merlin can be useful for the guild boss when several tentacles are down, because of his multi-hit ultimate. Units melee attacking Merlin have a 30% chance of being paralyzed, meaning they cannot use any skills and they can only move 1 cell for 1 round.
Perseus
Never underestimate Perseus. With his dash attack special, he can do much more damage when he moves farther. This can allow him to do some amazing damage with his ultimate, which also increases his damage as he moves farther.

His ultimate hits the target and everyone behind the target in a straight line. None of his skills are that impressive, and his Curse skill is too luck based to make much of a good use out of it.
