I do not get why people say that the developers do not have money. I did some basic maths according to statistics of my server. The server has been up for about three months now.
According to logo frames/premium heroes:
- There are about 12 players with VIP 11+
- One of them is VIP 14+ for sure
- One of them is VIP 13 for sure
I do not know how much money you have to put into the game to get VIP13/14: I’ll assume 400$ for VIP13 and 600$ for VIP14 (From what I saw in the forum those are some pretty low estimates).
I’ll also assume that about 20 other players have put some money into the game: I’ll use an average of 25$.
Total earned in the first three months of a server:
After those three months, the amount spent in the game seems to decrease significantly. I’ll assume that 30 players would still pay for the Daily crystals offer, and, eventually two person would pay 100$ for some offer from the game.
Assuming they open a server every 3 days (This taking into account EU/Asian/US servers), there would be about 30 servers earning 1335$/month
.
In addition, I will consider that there is a constant number of 100 servers that are more than 3 months old (350$/month).
Notes:
- This is supposed to be simple maths, not taking into account a bunch of variables and variations.
- I tried to underestimate the earnings.
Is that not enough to maintain a mobile game bug free?
Wouldn't it be a good idea to keep the game attractive for older players?
