Posting on another thread it came to me that we should discuss other mobile or facebook games that are similar to this one.
Please share your thoughts on other collection based games you have tried.
Here are the ones I have tried:
Marvel Avengers Alliance: This is both a Facebook and a mobile game. I have played this for several years. Basicly it's a tactical combat without heroes moving and 3 heroes in a team. The heroes have interesting skill sets and stats. It's not a bad game, there's a story mode like Heroes, but there's no "raid" option so you often have to farm it manually. The equivalent of soulstone (command points) is common for all heroes, but it takes a lot of farming. If you want to stay in top shape, you have to compete in the PVP tournaments which is not live, and complete all timed story mode quests (usually like 20 days). After some point it was all too much farming so I quit. Afaik it still gets updated. 4/5
MAA2: Same thing as above but in 3D, and mobile only. (also it's fairly new) Again very time consuming so I passed on this one. 4/5
Miscrits: A mobile + facebook game, it's a Pokemon clone but it's a good one. It has live PVP which makes the big difference. The creatures are kinda unbalanced and the way they added extra improvements to the creatures makes you either farm a lot or pay. So I quit. But still it's a great game. 4/5
Soul Hunters: Lilith's other game. Same nice graphical style, same leveling (and everything) systems but the game itself is real time auto combat that you only use heroes' ults. A little too simple for my taste. 3/5
Dragonsoul: 100% Same game with Soul Hunters, very very good (and humorous) artwork. Even if you don't like the game, have a look at the characters. 4/5
Spirit Guardian: Again, same mechanics with Soul Hunters (real time combat with ults), 3D graphics this time. The graphics are a little too confusing. 3/5
Juggernaut Wars: Once again same mechanics with Soul Hunters and 3D. I like this one's graphics better, and it seems like the game is being developed fast. 4/5
Battlehand: Collect heroes and use their skill cards to damage opponents in combat. Good 3D graphics, fine game, a bit slow albeit. 3/5
Mavenfall: More or less the same thing as above but it's 2D (nice graphics). This one's mechanics are tad bit better but collection relies more on draws, which often leads to money. 3/5.
Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes: This is MAA style combat, mixed with Heroes Tactics style collection. Not a bad game but progression is slow as hell so it leads to spending. Also the lack of story is bad. 2/5.
Fantasy War Tactics: I just tried this game, the tactical depth is crap. Didn't bother much, but has nice FF style graphics. 2/5
Final Fantasy Record Keeper: People love this game but it came very boring to me. 2/5
Battleheart: Not very collection based but you gather and level up heroes. This one isn't F2P but doesn't involve in-app purchases. Awesome real time combat. Play if you haven't. (Can't say the same for Battleheart 2) 5/5
King's Bounty: Legions (by rob): Tactical Strategy game, like Heroes: Tactics. If you played King Bounty you know it already. This is good game, very similar to HT but with deeper combat strategy imo. Every hero Has few active skills. PvP is working since 2 yers without any Bugs
There is one issue with it: it is no longer developed and since some time there are no actions made by support so once you get to the top (requires 12 months of active play) there is nothing else to do so you do what others did - simply quit.
